Start at 1:06. And then die. Because this may be the best thing you see all day.

So that when I look up at the night sky and I know that, yes, we are part of this universe, we are in this universe, but perhaps more important that both those fact, the universe is in us.

I don’t know if I have to words to describe how I feel watching this, but I’ll try.

This is my religion. To me, seeing and hearing things like this, it makes me feel whole. It makes me think that even in some small way, we live forever. That we can pass something on to anything and everything that come after us. That we are connected to everything, EVERYTHING, in such a beautiful and intimate way.

And all I can think of now is one night I’ll be holding my child and I’ll point out a star, and I’ll say, “You see that star, all those stars. You are part of them, and they are part of you.”

Writer's Block: Do Not Forget

What do you never leave home without?
A book.
I always have a book with me.

Something to write with and write on.

My pone is generally always with me.
I don't know when it happened, or how it happened.

But now I ship Clint/Coulson.

WHAT THIS IS, I CAN'T EVEN.

Oh, god. This is hard!

Nathan Drake from Uncharted. I adore him. He's funny and cute and not a typical action hero. He's got some great stories to tell, you just know it. And he's related to Sir Francis Drake. And I love pirates. (ok, fine. He was a privateer. Same basic thing.) And he's voiced by Nolan North.
(I haven't gotten through all of Uncharted 3 yet. Stupid break up has left me without a ps3.)

Garrus from Mass Effect would be pretty cool to hang out with too. Except he's always doing "calibrations."

Desmond Miles from Assassin's Creed is only a year older than me. And he's cute. And he kicks ass. I love the Animus, and being able to go "back in time" to see ancestors. And I know it's hell for Desmond, but I'd love to talk to him about it. Maybe he could teach me Italian. And he knows Shaun, and lord knows I love a snarky bastard. And he's voiced by Nolan North
(I haven't played Revelations yet, either, because of everything too. Hopefully that'll change soon!)
